How much is JPY in my currency?

  • The shop should automatically convert the currency based on your country or region.

 

How long does it take for my order(s) to be processed?

  • Your order will be processed and shipped within 5 business days.
    ※ exceptions may occur during national holidays, big events, or combined shipping (Patrons)

 

I ordered a "Pre-order" product—when will it be shipped? 

  • Pre-order items take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to arrive at our head office, so your order will be processed upon its delivery.
  • It is not possible to divide shipping between pre-order items and in-store items—if you want your in-store items to be shipped quickly, please consider placing two separate orders. (Shipping will also be counted separately)

 

How can I track my orders?

I want to buy it as a gift—is gift wrapping option available?

  • Yes, we can wrap your order. When you check out, please add this "Gift Wrapping" product to your cart. We only charge 500 JPY for basic gift wrapping. If you want to add a note / name of the person, please write the text in the notes section when you check out.
  • While we properly wrap our products, we also offer "Secure Wrapping" service for 1000 JPY wherein we add more bubble wraps to ensure that your package will not be damaged in the process of delivery.

Will I get exact tea packs / flavors shown in the photos of the Karel Capek tin can / pouch / set products?

  • For products such as tea tin cans, pouches, and sets; Please take note that the contents may change due to availability of the flavors. We are unable to check the actual contents as this product is packaged and sealed in a factory.

 

When is the expiration date of the food products?

Is the Online Shop and Physical Shop inventory the same? 

  • Please note that the online shop and physical shop inventory may vary!
  • Physical shop also carries Japan Only exclusive items. (these are items that are not allowed to be sold outside of Japan!)
  • Since our physical shop does not have an abundance of space, we are not able to display all items found in our online shop. But if you find anything you like on our online shop, please feel free to ask our staff! We can check our stocks if it is available in-store.

What are your store & shipping policies?

  • Orders are typically shipped within 5 business days via Japan Post, DHL, or FedEx, depending on your location. Tracking is provided once shipped. Please double-check your address and local customs restrictions before ordering, especially for tea or food items.
  • Cancellations, returns, and refunds are generally not accepted for customer-related issues, sale items, or pre-orders. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Secure wrapping is available for extra protection during transit.

I am staying at a hotel in Japan, is it possible to deliver to my hotel?

  • Yes, we can ship orders to hotels in Japan.
  • Important: You must include your hotel check-in and check-out dates when placing your order.
  • Important: If you want to order pre-order items and receive them at your hotel in Japan, please contact us before placing your order. Some pre-order items may take longer to arrive at our head office and may not arrive during your stay in Japan.

I am staying at an Airbnb/private accomodation in Japan, is it possible to deliver there?

  • Sadly, no.
  • If the recipient name does not match the resident name at the address, Japan post may return the package to us. For this reason, we only accept delivery to hotels or official accommodation facilities.

 

How much is the shipping to my country?

  • Shipping rate differed between country and the total weight and size of the products inside your cart. Please add products to the cart and check the shipping calculation when you reach the checkout page(s).
